An attraction of north Cornwall is The Camel Trail, it is a cycle trail from Padstow to Wadebridge and bikes can be hired from either side. It runs along the Padstow estuary with inspiring views and wonderful wildlife. There is the option to continue to Bodmin, along woodlands to Wenford Bridge - here the views change to moorland. Not only is the trail popular for cycling, but walking too.
There are many amazing coastal walks throughout North Cornwall with panoramic views. One can start from Port Isaac, Tintagel or Port Quin along to the Rumps, which are an ironage fort. Cardinham Woods and Gotlitha Falls are woodland walking options and great for picnics. The moorlands of North Cornwall - Rough Tor and Brown Willie host some of the best views across the area and are a truly amazing sight. These moors can also be seen from the Old Chapel House. |
